and repair operations and aircraft parts distributors
in the United States.

BURGER KING (GOLD COAST PARTNERS)
When Welt was appointed Examiner With Expanded Powers
by the United States Bankruptcy Court, for Gold Coast
Partners, owners of 18 Burger King restaurants thourghout
Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, the court had a
sale pending for $5 million.
Welt stepped in, holding an auction in United States Bankruptcy
Court. Within 30 days, he had negotiated to sell the businesses
for $7.5 million, netting over $2.5 million more than
the asking price.

DOLLAR TIME STORES
When the United States Bankruptcy Court appointed Welt
Trustee for Dollar Time Stores, the national chain was
losing hundreds of thousands of dollars. Welt successfully
liquidated assets, consolidated inventory and closed several
locations.

HURST CAPITAL
Kenneth Welt was Receiver in United States District
Court for the Hurst Capital Corporation and related
Industries and subsequently was appointed as the United
States Bankruptcy Trustee of this large Ponzi
scheme.
To
date, Welt's administration has yielded over a 65%,
in excess of $30 million, return to the investors.

HYATT REGENCY, DOWNTOWN MIAMI
When Welt was appointed Trustee, by the Office of the
United States Trustee/Department of Justice, the Hyatt
Regency Hotel had been grounded in Chapter 11 status
for more than three years.
Welt's turn-around management and skills as a mediator
resulted in the parties of interest uniting. The compromise
enabled the mortgage holder to fund the hotel's much-needed
renovations. The newly designed facility will position
the Hyatt as Downtown Miami's premier hotel and meeting
center.

MICCOSUKEE INDIAN GAMING
In a case involving the Miccosukee Indian Tribe of Florida,
Welt was appointed Conservator until allegations of
improprieties and mismanagement were resolved through
the United States District Court. Welt assumed responsibility
for the daily administration of the multi-million dollar
gaming facility. After a thorough review of the financial
condition, he instituted new internal controls, which
helped double revenues.
In addition, Welt formed an allegiance with the Miccosukee
Indians. Monies were used to establish scholarship funds
and develop educational programs to teach the tribal
members to operate their facility.

NATIONAL RECOVERY INSTITUTE
Using his hands-on management style and business savvy,
Welt saw the National Recovery Institute through a successful
bankruptcy. He oversaw the operations, payments to creditors
and the new entity, post Chapter 11. He also sold the
Florida subsidiary to a new entity.
Today, the alcohol and drug rehabilitation center is
operating successfully in New York City.
